Parent Involvement and Homework
It is a vital responsibility for all parents to help their children succeed. Children's Academy staff and teachers promise to do their part and with the cooperation of you as the parent we can make your child's education a great success!  Research shows clearly that children are more likely to succeed in learning when their families actively support them. When family members read with their children, talk with their teachers, participate in school or other learning activities and help them with homework, they give children a tremendous advantage.

"If you expect your child to be well-educated, you have the responsibility of making sure your child gets educated, starting at home, with some basic fundamentals."
—President George W. Bush

We go outside everyday, weather permitting. Please dress your child appropriately for outside play. If you have an extra sweatshirt on your child we can always take it off while inside. Also, please make sure you mark each article of your child's clothing with his/her name. This may help prevent lost clothing. If for a medical reason your child cannot go outside, we will need a statement from his or her doctor. Every child must go outside for playtime, unless we have the statement in the child's file. There will be NO exceptions.

Please keep an extra change of clothing in your child's class box in case of an accident such as wet pants, spilled milk, etc.
